The name of our company came to me after thinking of my beloved Great Uncle Gene. Throughout my childhood I heard many tales of all my relatives getting together in Broken Bow, OK for their yearly camping trips. Uncle Gene's legacy started to mean more to me after I got horses. He was a champion roper, he had his own riding stables...a real cowboy. The incredible thing about him is he had polio as a kid and was crippled by it. That never stopped him from doing all the things that he loved. What an inspiration he was! The other neat thing to me was he was part Cherokee. He was very proud of his Native American roots. This jewelry line will reflect my love for all things native American and cowboy.

Lastly, the broken arrow in native American means peace. I feel like the only way to have peace is to stop doing what you hate and start doing what you love! I have finally found my passion. I am sharing with you the by-product of that. My journey began when I started making ceramic jewelry with my sister. We had the chance to make three beautiful custom pieces for a very talented horse trainer friend of mine. That experience was a pivotal moment in my life. The best part of it all was I knew I wanted to make jewelry that really spoke to the soul. Put a label on it if you will, but I want to specialize in cowgirl loving, gypsy soul searching, native American inspired, all things soulful kind of accessories with a splash of mermaid. Welcome to my world!
